Times Tribune
The Times-Tribune is the source of Northeast PA’s informative news as well as an age-old story of family tradition. E.J.Lynett spent his early years as a breaker boy in the coalmines and grew up to purchase a “3,200 circulation, two-cent afternoon publication” in 1895. Passing though several generations of the family, the company now encompasses fifteen publications and ten radio stations to reach more than one million people a week. A Scranton landmark, the building and its 260 ft. radio tower can be seen from expressways and approaches to center city.
